A steady place to begin again.

Morning Star Mental Health is a small, family-minded practice rooted in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

We started Morning Star around a simple belief: that healing happens in relationship and that everyone deserves a place to be met with patience instead of judgment. The morning star is the light that rises before dawn, when the night has felt longest. That’s the moment we’re here for.

Who we serve

We work with children, preteens, teens, and adults — as individuals, as families, and in groups. Much of our work centers on young people and parents navigating trauma, anxiety, and crisis, and on rebuilding the connection between a parent and a child when it’s grown strained. We’re glad to serve clients of all backgrounds, and we’re attentive and respectful to the faith and culture of the families we see, including members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How we practice

Our care is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence. We draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, family systems, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and trauma-focused approaches — and we tailor the plan to you in the very first sessions. You set the pace. We walk alongside.

Where to find us

We see clients in person at our Pleasant Grove office and online by secure telehealth anywhere in Utah, weekdays and Saturdays. Reach us at (801) 203-0946 or through the contact page.
